We are a locally owned and growing CPA practice serving individuals, small businesses, farms, and rural professionals throughout Central Texas. Our firm blends modern technology—including Drake Software, Drake Portals, and secure digital workflows—with the personalized, relationship-driven service our clients appreciate. We’re expanding our team and seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Tax Preparer to support our busy and growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare basic individual tax returns under supervision
Assist with client intake and document organization
Review financial records, receipts, and documentation for accuracy
Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and secure message
Protect the confidentiality and security of all client information
Work collaboratively with our small, supportive team to keep the tax workflow organized and on schedule
Prepare basic financial statements to support tax preparation
Beneficial characteristics would include (but not required):
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
A Texas CPA license
Experience with general ledger software such as QuickBooks
Experience with Drake Software
We will require passing background check and drug test; and comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
