Burnside Services, Inc. is a family owned business in Navasota, TX that specializes in large machine controlled earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and athletic field construction. We are currently accepting applications for a full time on-site Earthwork/ Underground Utility Superintendent.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working on BSI construction sites- including but not limited to the Houston Area.
- Provide direct in field supervision of all phases of earthwork, site construction and underground utility construction.
- Act as BSI point of contact on-site.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with GPS, laser level equipment, large excavation equipment including dozers, track hoes, tractors, scrapers, etc.
- Assess job priorities and assign employees to appropriate tasks.
- Coordinate, direct, monitor, and inspect all subcontractor activity.
- Coordinate, direct, monitor and inspect all BSI earthwork and utility construction on-site.
- Act as on-site Safety Director maintaining all safety policies and procedures.
- Review and approve all hourly employees’ time sheets and communicate that information to HR staff.
