We need an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. High school graduation or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years in the maintenance and operation of electrical equipment in a theater complex
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of electrical tools, A/V equipment, sound, lighting & video consoles, controllers & devices
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Other Requirements:
Customer service oriented
Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and special events as necessary
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or higher
Four years in the maintenance and operation of electrical equipment in a theater complex including one year supervisory experience
Responsibilities:
Installs and maintains electrical wiring, theatrical lighting systems, electric motors, generators and simple electrical equipment
Performs quick emergency repairs requiring total familiarity with A/V & lighting equipment
Assists with the set-up of electrical equipment for performances and events
Operates video consoles during performances and events
Sets-up and operates audio/visual equipment for meetings
Trains part-time/occasional employees
Performs other duties as assigned
