Big Creek Construction is looking to hire Class A CDL Hot Oil Tanker Drivers with HAZMAT and TANKER Endorsements in the Central Texas area (Angus/Caldwell/Centerville/Gatesville/Lorena).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely Operate Class A truck with a total capacity in excess of 3 tons and transport hot oil to job site
Operate high pressure pump and burner for heating fluids, using controls such as levers, pedals and buttons
Operate high pressure pump to test the integrity of tubing and casing
Observe equipment gauges, indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions
Carry and lay out hoses and joints of pipe from truck to the wellhead or battery
Connect and disconnect equipment specifications of loads and equipment
Repair, maintain and adjust equipment, often using hand tools
Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition
Maintain Driver Log according to DOT requirements
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times
Qualifications:
Must have a TEXAS Class A-CDL License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (REQUIRED)
Must be able to drive a Standard Transmission (REQUIRED)
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years (REQUIRED)
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written English
Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations
Standard Requirements:
Pass a Pre-Employment “Fit for Work” physical
Pass a Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol test
Lift up to 50 lbs, Stoop, Bend, Stand, Squat, Stretch
Report to work at the designated start time
Willing to travel and work away from home when required
Be able to work overtime and weekends when required
