Job Details
Job Duties
Support PCB development for an entire line of embedded devices.
Assist in supporting failure analysis and troubleshooting.
Perform hardware updates and fixes to support sustaining engineering.
Design and test PCBs to support new product development at the direction of the Hardware Manager.
Perform hardware qualification and testing utilizing various techniques (HALT, HASS, soak, etc.)
Ensure hardware compatibility by interfacing with the embedded software team.
Requirements
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience with High Temperature PCB design (5+ years' desired).
Experience testing and qualifying high temperature boards.
Experience troubleshooting boards and conducting root cause analysis.
Experience managing PCB manufacturing (Prototype and Commercial).
Experience with the TI TMS320C28x DSP family is a plus.
Previous experience with high pressure/high temperature designs is required.
Schematic capture and PCB layout experience required.
Experience with Altium is a plus.
Experience with RF is a plus.
