Job Details

Job Duties
  • Support PCB development for an entire line of embedded devices.
  • Assist in supporting failure analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Perform hardware updates and fixes to support sustaining engineering.
  • Design and test PCBs to support new product development at the direction of the Hardware Manager.
  • Perform hardware qualification and testing utilizing various techniques (HALT, HASS, soak, etc.)
  • Ensure hardware compatibility by interfacing with the embedded software team.

Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience with High Temperature PCB design (5+ years' desired).
  • Experience testing and qualifying high temperature boards.
  • Experience troubleshooting boards and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing PCB manufacturing (Prototype and Commercial).
  • Experience with the TI TMS320C28x DSP family is a plus.
  • Previous experience with high pressure/high temperature designs is required.
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout experience required.
  • Experience with Altium is a plus.
  • Experience with RF is a plus.
