Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a 6+ month contract position located in Dallas, TX.
Description: The UI Web Developer develops and maintains company related websites and applications using required CMS systems and technologies, and implementing standards compliant, accessible, and responsive code. The UI Developer is also responsible for managing analytics snippet installation/configuration across the Company's web properties.
Responsibilities:
Manages various websites and standalone applications developed in HTML and CSS, JavaScript and Anugular.
Develops new (and supports existing), user-facing features
Ensures and maintains brand marketing standards for the company's websites, using existing style guide
Provides creative and technical expertise while developing effective graphics and page layouts.
Optimizes code for speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
Serves as point of contact and primary resource for all survey application-related questions, including training, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Works closely with various departments.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, liberal arts, or a technical field or the equivalent.
At least 5 years' experience required designing web pages and maintaining Enterprise systems.
Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JS
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP languages.
Excellent creative/ design skills with a good technical base for web design is required.
Experience working with Bootstrap, or a comparable framework such as Foundation, for developing responsive layouts.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Must have experience utilizing quality assurance/testing procedures to ensure good product delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must be able to collaborate effectively and work within a team environment as well as work independently as needed.
Should have the ability to manage smaller projects and problem-solve with little guidance.
Demonstrates comfort learning new technologies and tools
