Job DescriptionGreat temp to hire opportunity for an experienced Electro-Mechanical or Electrical TechnicianWill work rotating shifts/ scheduled a month in advancePay rate is $16-18/hrESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1.Work from schematics, drawings, charts, manuals, flow charts, verbal and written instructions. Use various hand and power tools; testing equipment such as RPM meters, frequency meters and watt meters, oscilloscope, multi-meter, and bridges or other designed testers to determine problem and necessary repair(s).2.Perform required installation of new, replaced, repaired or modified equipment at proper stations of production lines (done under supervisory direction, or with assistance of other departmental personnel.) Test run to ensure equipment is in proper running condition.3.Review work orders concerning particular malfunctioning equipment giving consideration to first priority of maintaining production schedules with minimum amount of down time. Troubleshoot and repair as required, electrical and/or electronic circuitry giving consideration to problems concerning motors, circuit breakers, relays, switches, registers, adders, counters, encoder, decoders, lamps, sensors, fuses, and other similar equipment parts or units.4.Repair and/or replace malfunctioning parts such as gears, pulleys, cams, chains, sprockets, belts, pneumatic and hydraulic devices, vacuum pump, air valves and cylinders, regulators, chucks, drive motors, heaters, or other such equipment parts.5.Check for air/liquid, leaks in. lines, hydraulic deionization and particle filters; repair or replace as required. Handle routine servicing functions such as clean and way mold bars, lubricate chains, motors and sprockets, change oil, clean and service TIC baths, replace stations and hand cappers, replace rollers, conveyor belts .gas bottles, adjust gas regulators and. other like preventative maintenance tasks.ADDITIONAL DUTIES:1.Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work areas in a neat andorderly condition.2,Perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor.JOB SETTING:Works in a. manufacturing environment, Hours are dependent on assigned shift. Position is subject to call outs and working overtime on a daily or weekend basis,KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:1.Must possess basic AC/DC theory for troubleshooting series/parallel circuits and be able to read and troubleshoot from schematic and pneumatic diagrams.2.Must be able to troubleshoot down to component level and he skilled in the use of oscilloscope, multi-meter, wattmeter and clamp-on ammeter.3.Must be able to work around chemicals.Why Kelly ® ?At Kelly Services ® , we work with the best.
