We are seeking aQuality Control Manager! The Quality Control Manager will assure that all products meet the required codes and standards. This job is temp to hire, and pay will be $20.00/HR.Responsibilities:Assure that all product meets ASME Code, customer specifications, and industry standardsLead/direct Quality Control and Receiving Inspection departmentsWork with customers through pre-fabrication meetings, reviewing specifications before fabrication, and reviewing the final drawing/engineering packages before fabricationPrepare Quality Inspection Test Plans (ITP)Maintain all Quality Control records/reports, calibration records of equipment, Quality Control job files, and lab test recordsPerform inspections of parts and componentsOversee evaluation of the final productCreate ASME/NBIC Code Data Reports/Code Data PackagesDelegate tasks to inspectors and schedule subcontractors, customer inspectors, and code personnel as neededQualifications:Must have 5 or more years' experience in QA/QC or engineering related fieldsMust have 5 or more years' experience in supervising and leading a teamMust have experience in ISO Standards and document controlMust have knowledge of ASME Code, NIBC Code, TEMA, and API Industry standardsMust have certification in AWS, CWI, or NDT Level II (MT, PT, RT, etc.)Must have knowledge of various manufacturing processes and different analytical tools for process improvementAssociate Degree in related field is preferredASQ, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Certificate is a plus!Once hired on, the Manager can expect competitive salary and comprehensive benefits!Callfor a phone interviewAll employees are eligible for medical, vision, dental, vacation time, and paid holidays!
