Personal Injury Civil Litigation Law Firm is seeking a full-time associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of litigation experience for its Hidalgo County, Texas Office. This position will require the associate to act as second chair in both pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters and be actively involved in the day-to-day management of files, including but not limited to file intake, analyzing cases, researching, drafting motions and briefs, propounding and responding to discovery, presenting clients for and taking depositions, and appearing in Court for hearings and trial, as well as be able to provide other litigation support as required.

WORK SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM plus additional hours needed to meet job requirements
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position will require some out of town travel
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 2 to 5 years' criminal or civil litigation experience
- first or second chair trial experience
- Ability to handle litigation files of modest severity and complexity
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong worth ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong written, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle a large docket with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Admitted to practice in the state of Texas in good standing
- Bilingual, Spanish
