High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Trade school and/or military training a plus. Valid drivers license and good driving record along with auto insurance required. May be required to be certified to use pool chemicals depending on the location. One to five years verifiable hands-on general maintenance experience is preferred with proficiency in at least one major area. The ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail is required.

The successful applicants job duties will include:
Prepares or assists in preparing all vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
Performs various community maintenance functions.
Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
Performs on-call emergency service as required.
Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on vacants, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Assists the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager on special maintenance projects, i.e., preventative maintenance of building components and/or mechanicals.
Assists in keeping the grounds and common areas free of trash and debris.
Maintains open communication with property management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
