Needing a full time Captain and part time backup Captains. Port Aransas is where the boat is located but if a Captain from Aransas is willing to work on call 24/7 I’d consider placing the boat in Aransas Pass.
Must have a Coast Guard issued Captains Licence 6 pack or greater with tow assist. Those who do not have tow assist can acquire it through Sea Academy in Aransas. One day class.
Job duties consist of towing and salvage of pleasure craft. Towing disabled vessels in that have broke down out on the water is 99% of the work you’ll be doing. Basically, if someone takes their boat out out and breaks down, we go get them.
Pay is 30% of the gross of each job.
Basically, you will make about $60-90 an hour from the time our boat leaves the dock until it returns.
Experienced Captains only please with a good knowledge of the local bay areas.
