Looking for a summer job? Come teach kids how to code! We are looking for smart, motivated candidates with a background in education or computer science to join our summer camp team! We teach a wide variety of camps throughout the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area to kids in grades K-12.
As a camp instructor, your job responsibilities include:
Daily set up and tear down of equipment at your assigned location (may vary week to week)
Teaching half day or full day camps to 8-10 kids based on your availability
Delivering a fun and educational camp
Engaging the children and providing challenges for the more advanced students
Maintaining and storing equipment as necessary
Supervising kids during breaks and lunch time
Attending weekly wrap up meeting on Fridays
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with kids
Experience in either education or computer science
A self-starter attitude
Comfort with basic technology and troubleshooting
Strong communication skills
Confidence interacting with parents
Lots of energy and enthusiasm!
Some instructors will have experience in the following specialty areas:
Scratch
Python
Javascript
Minecraft
Roblox
Arduino
3D Game Development
Robotics
Web Development
Android App Development
Typical camp teaching hours:
Half-day camps are 9-12pm or 1-4pm Mon-Fri, full-day camps are 9am-4pm Mon-Fri. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $14-$18 per hour DOE and also offer paid training and paid prep time for your camps.
