A Senior DevOps engineer is needed by a software product company in DFW. The company specializes in the insurance industry, but they have completely re-imagined industry assumptions, and harnessed technology and big data to create life insurance products that aren't just delightful to use, but deliver on their mission: to make financial products accessible to more people than ever before.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you'll help the team automate cloud resources, implement developers tooling, and make changes to products to increase their manageability. The ideal candidate should be open to helping them define technical designs and implement work independently. This person should have prior experience with systems administration and cloud service automation.
This candidate will be spending half of their time embedded with a product team, so that you can get to know the specific needs of the product teams and ensure they build useful tooling. The remainder of the time will be spent with other DevOps engineers working on cross-cutting projects.
