An established land surveying firm with 25 years of commercial, municipal, and heavy civil project experience is seeking a survey office technician. The job description includes drafting surveys, plats, and exhibits, writing legal descriptions, preparing construction calculations, maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, and coordinating with the survey project manager and other staff to deliver quality services under budget and within deadlines.
Desired qualifications include a minimum of two years of survey drafting experience, the ability to learn proficient operation of Microstation Geopak/Powercivil, Carlson Survey, C&G Survey, and Trimble Business Center, a proven work history, a strong work ethic, and a team-player attitude.
This position may require working in the field during the training period and from time to time after that.
