Associate R&D Technician-PlanoKelly Scientific is currently seeking an on call Associate R&D Technician for one of our top food service clients in the Plano, TX area. This company is a consistent leader in its field and is highly respected for its high quality goods and scope of products and services.This role is on call, and consists of small short-term projects throughout the year that are not regular . For example, you might be asked to work for a couple days one week and then not again for several days or week. Strong flexibility is desired, though you can choose not to work shifts offered. Pay rate for contrators is 16.00 per hour.Job Duties
Day to day work in the lab/kitchen making various current as well as new products for the market.
Follow the pre and post ingredient preparations and follow ups.
Set up product evaluation/shows and clean up tasks.
Maintain records of the work done/to be done.
Support various project work being done by team members.
Any other routine and new project work assigned by the manager.
Keep all info confidential.
Maintain a positive mindset and create friendly relations with team members.
Requirements:
New or current graduates with a desire to work for one of the largest food service chains in the U.S. and develop career strongly encouraged to apply.
Ability to be flexible with scheduling and ability to be on call.
Minimum of a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree desired.
1-3 years in food science or related discipline desired; however, is not required. Candidate should have at least limited knowledge of food science R&D.
