Digital and Technology powered products play a vital role in CBRE’s mission to create unmatched value for our clients.The Director Data Product Management will be a product leader tasked with developing and executing against the Data Product Strategy that would leverage and enhance various data products for the Corporate Segments. Specifically, the Director Data Product Management will be responsible for driving the product strategy and execution for various products within segments like Econometric Advisors, Compliance and Finance teams to truly drive business outcomes. S/he will report to Vice President of Data Product Management.The Director Data Product Management must have a passion for developing digital and technology powered products that blend seamlessly with customer’s workflows and provide the right information at the right time. The individual must possess technical expertise, project management experience and a strong knowledge of product management, data analytics, and a keen desire to understand current customer pain points.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead and define the data product strategy and roadmap for various data & forecasting products

Be a true business partner who understand the needs of the customer and build the roadmap from there on out to drive change

Own the vision of the products; identify and manage risks, dependencies, and opportunities. Leverage market knowledge data to amplify product development

Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data to executive teams across the stakeholders. Manage a unified platform roadmap taking the intent from relevant teams.

Facilitate conversations between all impacted stakeholders, including executives, engineers, analysts, other product teams, and external customers

Instigate a feedback loop with core customer groups, such as external users, research team members, and analysts, to understand their specific user requirements

Be able to influence at all levels of the organization

QUALIFICATIONSAt least 10+ years previous experience in data, analytics, and product management

Relevant product and data leadership experience, comfortable with ambiguity and able to influence and consult

Proven track record leading product delivery in an agile development environment.

Strong empathy with end user experience.

Strong communicator – able to communicate a narrative that aligns the use of data with a company’s overall commercial strategy.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight to twelveyears of related experience and/or training, including five years of experience at the managementlevel.REASONING ABILITYThe successful candidate will be a highly quantitative, resilient, results-oriented leader

Forward-thinking, and well-versed in emerging data technologies and trends

The individual must be a strategic thinker who can solve issues as well as build processes for growth

Good balance between analytical, business and technical skills
