Location: Dallas, TX

Note: Can be remote till Covid ends, post that relocation is mandatory.
Project
- EMIR Regulatory Reporting work to ensure compliance with mandatory regulations for EMIR
- Business Analysis & Requirements, Development and QA of high priority issues identified in Regulatory reporting remit.
- Implement and improve controls and metrics required to detect and prevent issues to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of these reports.
Primary Responsibilities:

This role is for a Business Analyst

The role offers the opportunity to engage with various groups within the Firm in Operations, Finance, Risk and IT to ensure delivery of business requirements in line with various Regulatory Reporting and control framework agendas. It will also include the provision of inputs into broader functional architecture efforts and business process re-engineering initiatives within the Firm.

This is a challenging and rewarding role offering the candidate the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of change. The candidate will need to be able to understand and articulate the differences between various financial products and their related operational processes and technologies, have an appreciation of the wider regulatory landscape and define, identify and deliver strategic solutions for controls, risk management and problem resolution. The candidate will also need to be able to work with and get the best from all levels of the organisation.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Working with senior stakeholders in the project space across relevant business functions to deliver the teams global projects; be responsible for the collation of business requirements and testing approach and execution for system implementation and process change for Trade and Transaction Reporting projects and wider control issues, contributing towards delivery on multiple projects
- Working with technology partners to define the functional and technical design to support business processing requirements
- Collaborate with Management to ensure common standards and best practice are implemented globally

Project Responsibilities:
- Remediation work: Analyses and implement change solutions to the issues raised based on priorities
- Controls Framework: Implement reconciliation reports and additional controls to ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of reported data to the regulators
- Testing & Implementation: Collaborate with the Project team on test plan development, design test strategy and manage the UAT process
- Project Management: Track and communicate project status to wider team and management
Skills required (essential):

  • Good understanding in the Regulatory Reporting processes and directives. (e.g. EMIR, MIFID II)
  • Business Analyst / Change Management experiences in the financial services sector
  • Create BRDs and User stories
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
  • Detail oriented and ability to adhere to strict timelines
  • Proficient in MS-Excel and MS-Word

  • Skills required (Preferred)
  • Experience in Regulatory Remediation work would be strongly preferred
  • Experience in Controls and Reconciliation is highly desirable
  • Experience in EMIR is preferred
  • Experience in QA and conformance testing
  • Knowledge of accounting and basic terminologies used in the financial services sector
  • Knowledge of project management and change management principles
  • Knowledge of MS suite of products including Power point, Share point etc.
