RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire an IT Project Manager V in Dallas, Texas (TX).
Responsibilities include:
An IT Project Manager will develop, track and manage project plans, timelines, and scope
Promptly identify and communicate challenges and roadblocks
The IT Project Manager will manage project resources including developing, motivating, coaching, and advising
Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
Facilitate the user acceptance testing process, developing rollout plans, and procedures
An IT Project Manager will ensure appropriate cloud development, path to production, and CI/CD processes are being utilized
Make presentations to project sponsors
Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field desired; MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
PMI-ACP or PMP certification preferred
AWS Cloud Practitioner preferred
8-10+ years of experience
Working knowledge of AWS infrastructure, data storage, reporting frameworks, cost optimization, and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of migrating reporting assets from an on-premises environment to our AWS solution
Proven project management experience
People management and team building skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
