day to day - 70% Development and 30% Architecture and Design
Strong Spring Boot - must have built and deployed a Spring Boot application
Strong microservices experience
good experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong Java background
  • You have 13+ years of Software Engineering experience and have experience in leadership roles across the full technology stack.
  • You have 4-5+ years - Architecture, Design, hands on experience with Spring Boot based REST Microservices design and Development
  • Architecture/Design Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud frameworks is a must
  • You have demonstrated organizational impact in your career by championing engineering principles like SOLID, TDD, OO design, etc.
  • You have a passion for pulling others up the ladder in their technology career and sharing best practices with more junior engineers.
  • Ability to collaborate well with the broader organization to include product, QA, senior leadership, vendors and other key stakeholders to your work.
  • Experience in building robust, highly available, and scalable web services.
  • Expertise in designing and transforming architecture into a microservices driven environment
  • Experience with building and deploying microservices in the cloud (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience building consumer-facing products and a passion for using technology to improve the lives of our customers.
  • Ability to debug production issues across multiple web services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Deep understanding of various Microservices and integration patterns using REST, HTTP(S), MQ, JSON, XML and SOAP
  • Deep understanding of Microservice patterns
  • Expertise with multi-system integration and common issues that can arise when integrating enterprise technologies
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively to meet timelines/deadlines
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field
  • Azure or AWS Solution Architect certifications is a plus
