Description The main responsibilities are: Architects (analyze requirements, design and prototype solutions) the company's business systems that enable the business processes Responsible for business process analysis, design of system configuration, design of testing and implementation of business systems to support functional goals, objectives and needs of the business area supported Architects "best-value" solutions that meet business needs while adhering to simplicity, business policies and procedures and leveraging current global investments and resources Develops knowledge of the supported business systems. Provides as-needed (post helpdesk or secondary) production and problem resolution support for systems in assigned area. Helps evaluate the business needs and prioritize them in the IT portfolio. Writes descriptions of user needs, functional specs and test cases. Assist with data conversion/migration Adheres to deadlines and schedules as assigned from enterprise-wide projects. Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously Mentors and assists other functional consultants Performs other job-related duties as assigned The main qualifications are: Specific expertise and understanding of one of the following business processes and the SAP application systems supporting that process ( or demonstrated ability to learn this type of information): Organizational Hierarchy, Materials / Inventory Management / Material Handling, Goods receipt, Goods Issues, Warehouse Management, Material and Vendor Masters, Intercompany Transfers, Subcontracting, Production orders and costing, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling, Routings, Physical Inventory/ Cycle Counting, Pricing and Conditions, Procurement/Sourcing of Direct and Indirect Materials, Quality Control, Work Flow, BOMs, Plant Maintenance and Services, ABAP, MRP, RFID, EDI, LSMW, Interfaces Knowledge of functional area applications systems, databases, and programming/data access tools General understanding of related technologies. Proficient in the use of basic desktop support tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio. Experience with SharePoint including using Power view and Power pivots to create dashboards Utilize query and reporting tools to provide flexible and timely information to system users. Determine the appropriate programming tools to supply information to system users Basic understanding of multiple business functions and the interdependencies between them.
