TITLE: Senior Network Security Engineer - Palo Alto Firewalls

Location: Remote in the U.S.

ICS, A Korn Ferry company, is looking for a
Senior Network Security Engineer Consultant, with Palo Alto firewall experience, to support a key project for our Technology Consulting client's team! This person will be responsible for owning the manual syncing process of the Palo Alto firewalls for a data center migration. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and client-facing individual with deep and broad knowledge of network/server components, design, maintenance, and issue resolution.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the process of manually syncing Palo Alto firewalls for this enterprise client's data center migration
  • Act as point of escalation and subject matter expert for team members and clients
  • Work closely with team members to review support requests and resolution, improve the level of service provided to clients
  • Assist with install/project data collection during the course of support and project implementations
  • Maintain a deep knowledge and understanding of all client environments.
  • Meet with colleagues, managers, and senior leaders regarding account status, ongoing issues and opportunities
  • Maintain prescribed network security levels and confidentiality


Skills / Experience You Will Need:
  • 8 or more years of experience in the implementation, design, and maintenance of Palo Alto Network environments
  • 5 or more total years of consulting experience is preferred
  • Professional level certifications in a well-known vendor (CCNP, JNCIP, NRS II) or higher preferred
  • Expert knowledge of as many of the following technologies:
    • TCP/IP
    • DNS
    • DHCP
    • IIS
    • VPN
    • SSL Certificates
    • Disaster Recovery
    • Malware Protection and Removal
    • Firewalls
    • VLAN's
    • Wireless LAN Technologies
    • Network Security Principles
    • Virtualization technologies
    • Private Cloud Solutions
    • Network Monitoring Tools
    • SNMP V2 & V3
    • NetFlow
    • Managed Hosting Providers
