Our client located in the North Dallas area is looking for a Senior Programmer to join a small but very experienced team. This position is supporting healthcare applications built for a group of privately held companies. They have been a leader in their business for well over 30 years.

Job Description:
We are looking for a software programmer/developer with an interest in not just
programming but in designing software for the healthcare and pharmacy industries.
This is a permanent and full-time position where you will be working out of our
main office located in the North Dallas area. As a participant in a highly
collaborative software development environment, you will have the opportunity to
advance your technical acumen by working with other software technicians of
varying levels of seniority. As you continue to demonstrate an ongoing
improvement in technical proficiency, you will be given the opportunity to work on
projects with increasing responsibilities.

Your job responsibilities will include the following:
  • Design and development of software
  • Identifying and documenting the scope of the work for upcoming development projects
  • Determining and documenting requirements specifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
  • Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, or some other relevant undergraduate degree
  • Minimum of seven years of direct professional experience in software development and database management using Visual C with relational databases.
  • Proficiency with development in a Windows environment is a must.
  • Good hands-on knowledge of XML, JSON, ASP.Net, JavaScript, and Oracle
  • Ability to work with legacy code written in C/VC/MFC/ProC and Oracle
  • Ability to use and follow Agile development techniques
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure PaaS, HL7, report writing tools, Tableau or similar BI applications is a plus.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.
