Team lead for multiple system functional areas or applications
Plan work items into releases and execution order
Expand existing software to meet the changing needs of our business and customers
Write unit tests for quality assurance
Partner with Business Analysts to translate business requirements to application specifications
Provides estimates for work item efforts
Consistently writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to specifications
Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure design and application implementation meets Quality Assurance standards
Lead the construction, maintenance, and expansion of the enterprise computer systems
Analyze end-user needs and design, test, and develop software to satisfy demand
Collaborate with enterprise architects and infrastructure to integrate applications and hardware
Analyze application reports to ensure that the functionality and performance meets all product and service level requirements
Conduct peer code reviews and approve code changes
Build, design, and coding standards to ensure consistency across applications
Interacts regularly with managers, clients, vendor, and agencies to field queries and questions
Knowledge, Skill, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:High level of understanding of technical expertise in systems analysis and programming with basic knowledge of the business environment
Knowledge of and experience with ATS leveraged systems including Azure Web Apps, Azure Search Service, SQL Server, and Logic Apps.
Advanced programming skills in backend .NET languages and framework, SQL queries
Advanced programming skills in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
Identifies risks and dependencies and takes action before issues arise
Provides guidance to junior software development staff
Strong team leadership and risk management ability, excellent project and time management skills
Daily updates to work items in tracking software including notes and hours worked
Technical SkillsKnowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies
Experience with translating business requirements into system functional and non-functional requirements
Proficient in software development for both web and client/server in .NET environments, Possesses knowledge of SQL and how it impacts software applications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; and 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of experience
Must be detail-oriented and logical, Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Able to work with minimal supervision
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to keep up with new business and technical concepts
