We have been retained by our client in

Dallas, Texas to deliver a

Test Automation Engineer with

Python experience on a full-time, direct hire basis to work onsite, in downtown Dallas, Texas.

Work remote two (2) to three (3) days a week. Provide software test automation and software quality assurance. This client makes significant profit doing what they do best. There is a new technology product underway inside this cutting edge organization to create a Software as a Service offering, in addition to what they do best.





The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating automated test cases for our client s custom applications hosted in AWS. The test cases are created for API calls as well as websites, RESTful services, RESTful API, as well as .NET web applications.






  • Understand business requirements well enough to design test cases

  • Implement automated test cases for new functionality of our client s custom .NET, SQL AWS applications and services that drive our client s core business using Python, Selenium, Pytest, and collaborate with developers on CI/CD pipelines in AWS.

  • Develop test cases for all supported browsers and platforms

  • Collaborate across .NET development team, AWS DevOps team, and project management team and business users

  • Responsible for working with the latest test automation technologies in a fast-paced environment






Requirements:



  • 3+ plus years of

    hands on Python or test automation creation in

    Python

  • 2+ years of Selenium test development

  • 2+ year of Pytest (desired) or equivalent (JUnit, XUnit, any unit test frameworks)

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience






Desired Skills:



  • Pytest

  • Selenium

  • AWS continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with developers and devops team to solve complex tasks

  • Agile methodologies

  • Ability to translate requirements into test cases, functional tests, regression tests, and edge case tests and automate those tests with Python test framework.






Employment Type: Regular Full-Time, Direct-Hire





Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 / year
