The HR Recruiter is primarily responsible for the on-boarding of new hires and retaining existing hires for the agencyâs caregiver staff. As part of the office administration, the Recruiter may have to assist the schedulers when need be.
Job duties/Responsibilities:
⢠Recruiting, and screening caregiver candidates with a minimum of 5-8 new hires per week.
⢠Sending out 200 (+) weekly emails, 25+ phone screens per week, 10-15 interviews per week.
⢠Completing all background checks that are required for new hires, Maintain all employee files, Inputting them into the system, running yearly checks, according to state requirements
⢠Being creative when utilizing recruiting/outsourcing techniques, and having the familiarity of social media. Attending various job fairs, presentations at schools, & etc.
⢠Manage online job posting on various websites
⢠Providing the needed number of caregivers, which will allow the agency to maintain client care.
⢠Conducting new hire orientation, create new employee badges, create new employee file, and establish online access to caregiver portal for all new hires.
⢠Work closely with the schedulers, to ensure that clientsâ needs are being met.
Skills and Experience
Experience:
⢠Recruiting/ Home Health/Home Care: 3 years or more
Experience in home health is strongly desired.
⢠Must have effective communication, and not wear your feelings on your shoulders
⢠Must be a self-starter, and multi tasker
⢠Must work well with minimal supervision
⢠Go-getter attitude, and team player mentality
⢠Great interpersonal skills
⢠Great oral/written communication
