Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Crew Lead to head our excavation team. This isn't just a "digging" job; we need a leader who can manage a crew, communicate effectively with clients, and use technology to keep projects on track.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Team: Manage daily operations on-site, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Equipment Operation: Safely drive trucks with trailers (Excavators/Skid Steers are a plus).
Digital Reporting: Use an iPad to track hours, view project plans, and communicate with the office.
Bilingual Communication: Act as the bridge between English-speaking management/clients and Spanish-speaking crew members.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in excavation, trenching, or heavy digging.
License: Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Towing: Proven ability to drive and maneuver a truck with a trailer.
Language: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using an iPad and basic apps for work reporting.
Machinery: Proficiency with Excavators or Skid Steers is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a "team player" attitude.
