Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, particularly in residential service settings, and possess a strong understanding of both high and low voltage systems.
This role requires proficiency with various electrical tools and equipment, as well as the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) with ability to communicate effectively with clientele and represent the company.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
Work with high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring all installations meet safety standards.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete electrical tasks.
Troubleshoot electrical issues.
Represent the company in a professional manner
Receive, complete and submit work orders in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and local building codes throughout all work performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or similar role in the construction/service industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage, low voltage, lighting control systems and NEC standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other relevant equipment.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Valid electrician's license or certification is mandatory.
