AN 18-YEAR-OLD LITIGATION FUNDING COMPANY and cash flow marketing firm has
an opportunity for an enthusiastic home-based paralegal and customer service
representative to support our rapidly growing sales team and customer base. The
customer service representative will be responsible for PREQUALIFYING SALES
LEADS/COLLECTING THE CASE DOCUMENTS (POLICE REPORT, COMPLAINT, MEDICAL
AND SURGERY REPORTS, EXPERT REPORTS, ETC. and helping the APPLICANTS
(ATTORNEYS, PLAINTIFFS, DOCTORS) by being informative, empathetic, and eager to
quickly BUILD TRUST ON THE PHONE. Must be willing to listen, learn, and resolve any
customer inquiry that crosses your desk. Looking for a candidate that has a record of
providing excellent WESTLAW CASE LAW RESEARCH, customer service, and be able
to effectively communicate through the CRM files (Google documents). If you are
passionate, organized, energetic, and well-organized, we should talk!
Customer Service Job Duties and Responsibilities
Able to think fast, find answers, and respond quicky to customer issues, all with a
polite, empathic, and professional voice and manner
Able to up-sell and cross-sell
Able to generate more referrals or leads from calls with customers/new leads
Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and faxes
Ability to memorize, recall, or research answers quickly
Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide
the correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer
experience
Ability to learn and follow all customer service procedures and policies
Strive to meet and go above personal and team targets, goals, and quotas
Aim for customer resolution and return
Record, organize, and file customer interactions and profile/account changes
Customer Service Job Requirements and Qualifications
Must have been a California Licensed paralegal for over 10 years
Must have used Westlaw.com for over 3 years
Any previous working experience with any PI firms will be a plus
Must have at least 3 years’ working experience and e-filing with CA family
court/civil court/criminal court and juvenile courts
Must have home office setup
Must be familiar with and used Zoom meetings
Any previous online store marketing experiences will be a plus
Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems
Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information,
filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts
Able to concentrate on multiple problems
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to answer the phone, listen actively, relay information, and type basic
information simultaneously
Customer-focused for positive customer experience and resolution
