POSITION SUMMARY: The ServiceNow Consultant is responsible for helping grow our existing footprint. The Consultant has to successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports day-to-day technical administration including release management Coordinates platform upgrades/functional updates
  • Analyzes log files Configures file changes
  • Updates installation and configuration documents
  • Performs validation/testing
  • Manages change control and performs technical issue/problem resolution
  • Provides software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow, administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development
  • Works with App/Process owners and other SMEs to define workflow for the Service Catalog items
  • Works with team members to integrate items such as Slack, Jira, VictorOps, Smartsheets, and Paycom
  • Works with service owners to develop and implement CMDB strategy
  • Expands existing Service Portal to enhance end user experience
  • Expands existing Knowledge Base for internal and external use
  • Manages (Change Management) existing workflows and setup new as required
  • Is Flow Designer and Workflow Editor
  • Fulfills reports, dashboards, and views request
  • Works on LDAP Integration and user/license management
  • Performs and monitors for maintenance and updates
