PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Capital Delivery Senior Electrical Engineer Project Leader is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient use of Roofing and Asphalt (R&A) capital resources, being a fully engaged member of the Capital Delivery Team, and accountable for defining/executing capital investment projects in our 28 manufacturing facilities (13 Roofing and 12 Asphalt plants). Typical goals are; zero injuries to OC employees or contractors, on-time project delivery, project spending consistent within budget expectations, researching/developing proposed business solutions, and overall excellent project management skills. In addition, it is common to expect the Project Leader be aligned with organizational goals of zero injuries, perfect quality systems and a waste free environment.
The Project Leader will also assist in creating reliability systems along with supporting the manufacturing facilities in order to provide optimum operational conditions in the safest and most cost effective manner.
Can be located in Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago/Detroit/Toledo. As long as they are near a major airport

The successful candidate is a leader of capital project processes and of people: The successful candidate must manage projects by guiding process owners- Plant Leaders and manufacturing staff, Process (Stable Operations) Engineers, Product Managers, Capital Sourcing- through the project schedule to perform on time and on budget.

JOB DUTIES:
This position entails project and technical leadership for all facets of mechanical equipment definition, design, and implementation for R&A's process equipment throughout the United States. The process equipment in question is used to take a continuous web of fiber glass may and convert this web into shingles using other raw materials and converstion equipment. Typical raw materials include oxidized asphalt, pulerivsed filler, various surfacing materials, films, and adhesives Examples of conversion equipment include cutting, combining, catching/stacking, and package. Additionally, there are many types of supporting processes such as, hot oil systems, compressed air, environmental controls, etc. There is a wide range of customer products that used to protect and enhance the appearance of residential homes and commercial businesses.
