What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for coordination and technical troubleshooting chemical technologies
  • Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications for both existing customers and new accounts.
  • Execute required chemistry tests, log, and report data, and maintain product inventories at assigned customer accounts.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordination with ChampionX Account Manager and District Account Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • GED/High school Diploma Required
  • Prior experience in Oil and gas/Chemicals industry in a service capacity
  • 1+ years of technical field experience/problem solving
  • 10% overnight travel required to support assigned customer accounts
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

Physical Demands:

  • Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical four-year degree in Engineering or Science
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate and transfer technical knowledge to others
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • 2 years of successful technical service or field sales support experience
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
  • Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office)
  • Prior experience in a field that requires autonomy and self-motivation
  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
