MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Properly measure, mark, and cut fabric according to specifications.
Creates all samples to specifications and required standards.
Produce quality sample panels (custom and standard) as sales aids for our customers.
Read and follow BOM for pulling the correct product, filling and packaging.
Ensure all samples are inspected for quality prior to pre-production.
Properly use fiber fill machine, sewing machine or serge machine to create samples.
Work closely with Production Mangers, Quality Assurance and Sales team.
Properly track and submit product movement forms to ensure inventory is accurate.
Make sure all sample orders have been pulled and shipped as scheduled.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
Must be able to read and understand the garment specs and create the samples.
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Develops alternative solutions.
Detail Oriented – Attention to details and accuracy.
Mathematical skills required- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, fractions, and decimals.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
