American National is GROWING! We are looking for an experienced diesel mechanic for our shop at the Caddo Mills terminal.

Qualifications/Duties:
-Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair problems with medium and heavy duty diesel trucks and heavy machinery.
-Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines. Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic and steering systems. Maintain and repair chassis, frames and bodies. Work with hoisting and jacking equipment, power tools, measuring instruments, gauges and meters. Lubricate equipment. Maintain and repair tires, batteries, brakes and valves.
-Performing all types of scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections on our fleet of diesel tractors and trailers.
-Perform shop management functions such as maintenance scheduling and spare parts inventory control; making estimates of material, labor, and equipment requirements.
-Must have a valid drivers license.
-Must have your own tools.
-Texas safety and commercial inspectors license a plus.
-Maintain an effective system of communication with supervisor and shop personnel.
-Keep a safe and clean work space.
