Cart Attendant – Job Description
Position Summary:
The Cart Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for members and guests. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing golf carts, golf bags, and the driving range area with efficiency and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Member Greeting & Service
Greet all members and guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Anticipate member needs and provide assistance with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
Golf Bag & Cart Management
Safely deliver and load members’ golf bags onto carts before rounds.
Retrieve and return golf bags to the bag storage area after play.
Clean clubs thoroughly and ensure they are properly stored.
Driving Range Operations
Set up the driving range daily, including placing range balls and ensuring the area is clean and organized.
Replenish range balls throughout the day as needed.
Operate the range cart to collect golf balls from the range safely and efficiently.
Cart Care & Maintenance
Receive carts after play, clean and inspect them for damage or maintenance issues.
Return carts to the designated charging/storage area and plug them in.
Qualifications & Skills
Friendly and outgoing personality with a service-first mindset.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
Ability to lift golf bags and perform light physical labor.
