Freight Pro Transport, LLC is looking for a load planner / dispatcher in the transportation industry ONLY. Any other type of dispatching will not be considered. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
Requirements:
-Good attitude
-Sense of urgency
-Must be willing to work on call
-Must be able to work under pressure
-2 years experience load planning in the transportation industry
Skills Required
· Must have excellent typing skills
· Must have good communication skills and the ability to multi task under pressure
· True desire to ensure our drivers' needs are met
· Bilingual is a plus
Position Overview: Plans the daily/weekly work schedule of drivers to maximize freight coverage in a timely and cost efficient manner. Communicate and distribute appointment dates/times to all drivers. Communicate and coordinate effectively to maximize driver’s time. Assist drivers with any equipment issues, detention time and any additional requests made of driver.
Important Job Functions
· Increase relationships with current drivers
· Build relationships with new drivers
· Communicate to internal and external customers
· Support all other operations

· Maintain a clean dispatch screen
· Attend all driver functions

· Manage all driver issues as described by your supervisor
· Communicate to staff and customer service in a timely manner
