We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to support our company’s warehouse operations. Warehouse Associate position is responsible for maintaining all aspects of warehousing and to provide a neat and clean environment as well as accuracy that leads to a higher level of efficiency and quality customer care.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members.
Basic computer knowledge to include typing proficiency
Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment
Heavy lifting required
Able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Assist with shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, taking sales orders and distributing to associates for processing
Use proper lifting techniques
Prepare parcel for mailing
Warehouse cleanup and maintenance
Attendance is regular
Appears to work on time and begins work promptly
Maintains a clean and professional appearance as per company policy
Under direct supervision, performs all duties independently, as well as in team, in an expeditious manner
Displays a positive attitude and maintains a cooperative working relationship with the all staff and management
Any and all other tasks assigned by management
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts while working around forklifts.
