Software Engineer serves as a team member of the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) Engineering Services team in support of Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) located at Fort Hood TX.Contractor responsible for assisting in the development of an automated test environment to support software and hardware testing.Experience with infrastructure automation technologies that automate deployment, management, and remote control of virtual machines
Comfortable writing custom tools and scripts that interact with various operating systems such as Windows/RHEL/Debian
Understands normal operating system scripting languages such as PowerShell, bash, and Python
Understands networking concepts such as IP addresses, network topologies, and how devices interact with each otherSkilled in providing technical expertise and system administration on multiple information systems running operating systems such as Microsoft Windows 10 (or later) and Windows Server 2012 R2 (or later) as well as a variety of other application software products required to support personnel assigned to the US Army in both a Windows-based unclassified and classified Local Area Networks (LAN)
Required Skills:
DoD Secret Security Clearance
BS or higher in STEM Experience in Software Engineering
DoDD 8570.01 standards, IAT Level 2
