RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking to add a developer to their Application Development Group in either NYC or FTW, TX.
Summary:
In this role, the C# Applications Developer/Software Engineer will design and code functional programs and applications and will work as part of a team and individually to meet the requirements of the position. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and keen eye for detail. The goal of the C# Applications Developer/Software Engineer is to write clean and flawless code to produce fully functional software applications according to business requirements.
Responsibilities:
The C# Applications Developer/Software Engineer will collaborate with a team of IT and Finance professionals to set specifications for new applications
Write high quality source code to program complete applications with deadlines
Perform unit and integration testing before launch
Conduct functional and non-functional testing
Troubleshoot and debug applications
C# Applications Developer/Software Engineer will evaluate existing applications to reprogram and update and add new features
REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in quantitative discipline (Computer Science or Engineering) with strong GPA
3+ years of recent experience designing and building applications with preferred focus on financial applications development
Knowledgeable in relational database design and construction, including SQL/transact SQL and stored procedures
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and follow through on tight deadlines in fast paced environment
Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving capability under pressure
Approachable team player with solid communication and verbal skills
Keen attention to detail and time management skills
Expert knowledge of C#, SQL server/Sybase
Experience with AWS, Testing automation frameworks, Microsoft Excel, VBA, Python, React is a plus
