Excellent foot-in-the-door opportunity, (potentially for a recent grad) for an NCS LiDAR Analyst/Collector to plan, coordinate, prioritize, and execute the activities and workflows necessary to collect and post-process Point Cloud Data to support safety-critical systems and initiatives in a Team environment. You will perform activities involving LiDAR Point Cloud collection, post-processing and extraction. Perform quality assurance (QA) and control (QC) tasks as needed to verify data collection accuracy. Compose status reports on projects clearly and in a timely manner
Experience in LiDAR Point Cloud collection and Extraction software technologies is needed. Experience with GIS software is a plus. College degree with a minimum of 2 years CAD/GIS/LiDAR experience preferred. CAD/GIS/LiDAR experience in Transportation infrastructure is desired. Understanding of the proper use of a Change Management Process is required. Must demonstrate above-average organizational skills and a desire to drive for results. Must be self-directed, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills. May be required to work irregular and flexible work schedule. Must have ability to communicate well (written/oral), one-on-one and in groups. Must be safety conscious and able to support and contribute to a strong safety process. Must be willing to travel approximately 80% of the time. Work Hours Mon-Fri 8-5 Before fieldwork, will need to be in office initially for training.
