Our client is looking for a Release Manager to join their fast paced growing organization to be responsible for the process of managing, planning, scheduling and controlling a software release through different stages and environments; including testing and deploying software releases. responsibilities:


  • Assist product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production
  • Implement and manage release processes for application related updates through development, test, and production environments
  • Focus on coordinating various aspects of production and projects into one integrated solution
  • Interface and communicate with Test Managers, Dev Managers, IT Ops and the PMO
  • Build the IT Release Calendar in working closely with the IT release managers from different portfolios across the Loan Production environment and centralize view of all releases
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations and vendors
  • Conduct Release Readiness Reviews, Milestones reviews and business Go/No Go reviews
  • Review deployment plans, rollback plans, resource plans, communication plans
  • Weekly Release reporting
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the business as needed
  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
  • Continually look for making improvements in the release process
  • Participate and coordinate the Go live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists
  • Participate in the CAB meetings to discuss and review release scopes and/or roadblocks as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

  • Summary As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met.
