Description Robert Half's Full-Time Loan Staff team is looking to expand with full-time, permanently employed accounting & finance professionals, specifically in the Senior Accountant space! We are searching for individuals that have experience in:Reconciling sub-ledger(s) to general ledger account balances
Preparing financial statements
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
Assisting with budget preparation and preparing monthly budget variance analysis
Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
Audit support
This opportunity with Robert Half's Full-Time Loan Staff team is a full-time, permanent Consulting position. As an employee of our practice, you will help scope, plan and execute a variety of Accounting & Finance projects/engagements. Your engagements will range from interim staff roles, such as Reconciliation, Month End, Audit prep/remediation etc. to implementing process improvement and over all attacking business challenges of our clients.As a member of our staff, you will participate in practice activities that include professional networking events and assisting our business development staff in staying abreast of industry trends and new business opportunities with your assigned clients. Additional compensation will be available for assistance in developing successful new business for Robert Half's Full-Time Loan Staff team. Our individuals need to be successful not only in a technical accounting/analysis, but also in client relationships and project management!Requirements Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
Ability to meet deadlines
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Candidates that are proficient in financial reporting may be most suitable for this opportunity
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Knowledge of multiple ERP systems
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired but not required
Background working with GAAP Accounting
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required (lookups, pivot tables, simple formulas at a minimum)
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with managers
