Description Robert Half is looking for an accomplished, motivated Staff Accountant for a permanent position within a prestigious Non-Profit company. As Staff Accountant, you will assist the Controller and Senior Accountant in all phases of the financial processes with the following responsibilities:· Reconcile and post accounts payable and accounts receivable· Record shop receipts and ensure accuracy in shop inventory reports.· Perform or assist with bank reconciliations· Reconcile and post timesheets and payroll; ensure timely payroll preparation and accurate recordkeeping.· Assist in budget preparation and management upon request.· Assist in monthly general ledger reconciliation and account management · Participate in annual audit as needed. Collaborate with external auditors as needed· Assist in budget preparation; Account for any budget variances and report significant discrepancies to management· Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with donors, members, volunteers, staff and community contacts.· Must be professional, respectful, enthusiastic, and polite to members, prospects, volunteers, community partners, coworkers, and othersRequirements Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills required
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of recent and relevant accounting/finance experience
MIP accounting software a plus
Membership in Girl Scout organization.
