SCOPE AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Achieve volume, revenue, and profitability goals
  • Appropriately staff and manage center talent and hold entire team accountable
  • Implement and execute of all company strategies, programs, and communications
  • Assure experiential needs of potential and actual clients are exceeded by appropriate team member(s)
  • Advance the Center’s operations by initiating, coordinating, following, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Generate local marketing, lead generation, and staff pipeline
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least five (5) years of relevant management experience
  • Relevant sales and long-term client relationship experience
  • Experience with profit and loss statements (“P&L”)

  • Summary As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager\'s individual performance, and available funding. This incumbent will serve as a Team Manager for Program Implementation Management Team in the Central Service Center, Planning and Requirements Group. Responsibilities Directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/project/programs and across multiple function and/or disciplines within a major subdivision. Duties typically include: strategic planning, communicating the organization’s vision and objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating performance of organizational units, coaching and developing staff and organizational capabilities, approving leave, and taking, recommending, or approving corrective/disciplinary action, as appropriate. Applies an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed, an advanced knowledge of budget, human resource management, and other administrative policies and procedures, and an advanced understanding of the objectives of the organization. Collects, assembles, and analyzes relevant data for planning development. Supports the formulation of Service Area input to the Flight Plan, Strategic Management Plan (SMP), and service unit business/operations plans. Assists with translating corporate business and operations plans into Service Area work plans. Tracks progress against national and Service Area plans and reports status. Reviews all relevant service unit plans and ensures that they are coordinated and horizontally integrated within the Service Area. Serves as a customer entry point and Service Area focal point for all external requirements. Coordinates and integrates external customer requirements within the service units. Collects, consolidates, and analyzes requirements to formulate F&E and Ops budget needs. Serves as an advocate for the Service Area to obtain funding. Conducts budget planning and analysis. Contacts are primarily within the organizational unit, major subdivision and the LOB/SO with subordinates, peers, and higher-level managers to discuss the status of projects/programs and to plan for the future. In some areas, may have frequent contact with customers, other government entities, and other external parties to interpret policies/procedures or for other project/program purposes. Has authority to make commitments for subordinate organizational units, within guidelines. Work is typically governed by established policies, procedures, and organizational objectives that frequently leave room for discretion. Resolves all but unique problems without the intervention of higher level management. Regularly called upon to identify problem areas and to develop and recommend new policies and procedures for resolution. Qualifications Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J or FG/GS-14 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes: Program and project management experience in federal programs involving acquisition, deployment, sustainment, improvement of facilities using capital investment program funding.
