Java Engineer, Full Stack Contract to Hire (or Direct Hire) / W2 Only / or (no sponsorship available) Role could be based in Dallas, TX or fully remote anywhere in the Central US
We have multiple openings for experienced, full stack Java Engineers with one of our Dallas area clients. This is a great opportunity to be a member of a growing software development team who will be transforming existing applications and developing innovative solutions.
The Java Engineers will have strong problem-solving capabilities, an inquisitive nature, and desire to innovate.
Experience/Skills Required:
5+ years of Software Development in Java (full stack); knowledge of Java 7, 8; Java 11 would be nice to have.
Experience with Docker (containerization), Tomcat, RESTful Services, Ext JS, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Gradle
Experience with microservices and API development
Experience with optimizing legacy apps, and app migration
Experience with AWS (or other cloud service)
Self-directed individual who likes challenges
Team player; the ability to collaborate, coach, be coached, and offer recommendations and expertise to improve tools, process, etc.
