We are currently seeking an

RPG / AS400 Technical Lead Developerto join our team. Preference for candidate to be in the local Frisco, TX area, but will consider remote / work from home for the right candidate based within the US. For local candidates in the Frisco commutable area, this role will work remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic until otherwise determined.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Database management with superior DB2 skills working on Healthcare Provider and payer applications
  • Practical programming of RPGLE concepts. Will be converting complex problem statements to working program flow
  • Working on CL environment and the CL Commands. Should be able to expertly guide team members in setting up the RPG programs in job environment
  • Work and create large sized ILE based deliverables and implementation
  • Job management and Optimization. Perform Batch debugging, journaling, journal receiver extraction and job servicing
  • Job scheduling. Knowledge of Job schedulers/RBO schedulers
  • FTP environment set ups
  • Writing complex SQL queries
  • Working with triggers/stored procedures, etc.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Developer in AS400/ RPG


Preferred Skills:
  • An understanding of the US Healthcare would be beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of HL7 processes and the various AS/400 integration methodologies
  • Knowledge of Java would be looked forward to
  • A sound understanding of the HAWKEYE tool would be a great advantage for the position
  • A sound understanding of the TURNOVER/ALDON/Implementer tool would be a great advantage for the position
