Responsibilities: Coordinates the implementation of a defined, short-term project or sub-set of projects (less than one year) within set organizational procedures and standards. Responsible for meeting sub-set objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated risks. Typically requires knowledge and experience of the technical area being managed and an awareness of the business issues. This is an entry-level position. Technical Duties:
Interacts on a routine basis with clinical health providers, Biomedical engineers, IT specialists and leadership in the identification of technology-based problems and solutions
Inspects and ensures an advanced range of clinical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments are ePHI compliant
Prepares required documentation and reports for review and presentation to senior leadership
Demonstrates a safety mindset
Typical Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge and operational understanding of both Biomedical and Imaging equipment and how they interface with computer networks
Understanding of current hospital regulatory requirements inclusive of CMS and Cybersecurity
Basic knowledge and understanding of computers and how they interface with medical equipment
Basic understanding of networking theory to include basics of IT language i.e. AD (Active Directory), VPN (Virtual Private Network)
Ability to navigate proficiently within all platforms of Microsoft Office
