Looking for a highly motivated, experienced optician to join our private optometry office. Responsibilities would include frame styling, helping obtain measurements for glasses orders, ordering frames and lenses, cutting lenses in onsite laboratory, assembling/ adjusting/repairing glasses, checking orders for accuracy, maintaining frame inventory and laboratory materials and other responsibilities as assigned by owner/manager. This office uses an electronic medical records system, so experience and profiency with computers is needed. The applicant needs to be willing to cross train to be able to help fellow coworkers and have excellent communication/ people skills.
