Bryant Industrial Services is looking to hire a combination industrial carpenter who also has concrete labor experience. The work site is located within the Port of Texas City.

Industrial Carpenter with Concrete Labor Experience – Port of Texas City
This job is located at various locations within the Port of Texas City.
BIS does structural repair for operating port structures, such as docks and fender systems. Our work is focused on: structural concrete, steel and wood repair for all types of civil, commercial, and industrial structures.
All candidates must meet these requirements in order to be considered for employment:
Must have a valid TWIC
Must have a valid driver license and transportation
Must have a minimum of 3 years of carpenter experience and 1 year of experience working with concrete in an industrial construction environment.

DESCRIPTION:
-Erecting and setting up concrete forms and misc. general carpentry requirements
-Mixing/preparing concrete
-Have measuring skills
-Concrete finishing experience
-Erecting and taking down scaffolds/shoring
-Pouring cement -Jack hammering -Caulking
-Epoxy Injection -Coating, Epoxies, Urethane-Epoxy/Urethane Injections.
-Concrete Spall Repair (both large and small areas)
-Candidate should have a good knowledge of the concrete industry, jobsite safety and terminology.
-Be familiar with hand and power tools
Be prepared to work at 7:00 AM.
When not working as a carpenter, will work on general labor crew with concrete repair or other tasks as assigned.
Must be flexible to work weekends as required.
Assist with daily cleanup before leaving the job site.
Be proactive. Notify foreman/supervisor when assigned tasks are completed so that a new task can be assigned.
Be able to work around water.
Be able to stoop and lift 50 lb. loads as necessary.
