Meanwhile, you can rely on the resources of a global technology leader to back the kind of innovation that has characterized our historic breakthroughs.Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking for an experienced radar systems engineer with experience in radar seekers, radar digital signal processing, and missile homing guidance who is able to develop creative applications of state-of-the-art technology and effective solutions to complex technical challenges.Candidates should be familiar with all aspects of radars, including search and acquisition logic, tracking algorithms, waveform selection, overcoming countermeasures, modeling and simulation of seekers, and Hardware-in-the-Loop analysis.Strong communication skills will help for clearly explaining technical information during customer presentations and presentations to program leadership.The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate.This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University.The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Expertise with radars, radar signal processing, and/or missile homing guidance. Proficient in programming with C.Desired Skills:Experience with the following: Electronic warfare (EW) and missile defense systems.
