Boeing is seeking a Mid-Level Computing Architect (User Experience) with experience in airplane systems, to join a Human Machine Interface (HMI) team for the Onboard Network System (ONS). This role will be supporting a team based in Seattle, Washington; however, is being offered as a virtual position.
In close collaboration with HMI team leadership, work will include the definition and documentation of system requirements, visual requirements, visual commonality standards, a User Guide, and a Design Practice. The work may include the creation of visual assets for a variety of User Interface Specifications, User Guide, HMI Standard, and Design Practice for System Engineers, Software Engineers, Functional Test, and Customer Support teams.
The ONS software manages onboard networks, off-board communication, Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) data load, file storage, third party developed software, and a whole host of additional features that airline customers rely on.
The Computing Architect in User Experience will work in multi-disciplinary teams with Software Engineers, System Engineers, business leaders, and airline customers to design and build new ONS platform features.
